HELLO! we are going to learn about your

magnificent brain did you know our brain

can grow like a flower

just like a flower there are four things

required to help our brain work at its

most optimal so that you can persevere

through the crazy storms in life

did you know your brain can grow when

given healthy and nutritious Foods

appropriate sleep activity

finding peace and calm amongst the

harshest of environments

our body and brain cannot operate if it

does not have the right fuel just like a

flower won't grow if it doesn't have Sun

soil or water

while we all love sugar it really makes

our brain focus on more negative things

and crave stuff that is actually really

bad for our growth when we want

something that isn't actually good for

our bodies take a breath and try to have

something healthy along with it

don't forget lots and lots of water

what kind of movements does a flower do

they kind of sway in the breeze this

movement is very important do you know

why

it's to create more and more and more of

itself for the overall ecosystem our

brain and body are kind of its own

ecosystem

if you feed your body then you will have

more stamina and likely to retain new

information and Tackle those newer old

tasks and skills

then you might need a break and are more

likely to be in a mental state to go

outside and enjoy some fresh air

if you exercise the more likely you are

going to get hungry and feed your body

and all of this will create an

environment for your brain to learn grow

and persevere through the crazy storms

of life

what does that look like in order for

your brain to get stronger you need to

exercise it just like if you wanted to

get strong arms or legs you would lift

weights and put strain on that muscle

the muscle would feel sore but that's

your body building muscle and getting

stronger kind of like when you're

frustrated learning a new skill that's

your brain building connections and

getting stronger

it doesn't feel good but it doesn't last

forever

it does get stronger and when you're

stronger you can do more and more and

even more things

and become the best version of yourself

so just like the muscles in your arms

and legs your brain muscle can grow and

get stronger too

activity can come in two forms brain

exercises and body exercises

when you are using mental stamina by

learning and practicing a new or old

skill you are building your perseverance

your problem-solving skills and overall

stamina that's hard work and requires

exposure experience and practice over

time to do that

when you practice something over and

over again each time you will make

progress

if you aren't it might mean you need a

different approach to learning that

skill

fun fact time did you know that 18

minutes a day of practicing something is

all it takes to be better than 95 of the

world in any discipline or skill

crazy

just remember your brain is a muscle and

there are a lot of people in this world

that have experienced a lot of new

things and developed a lot of tools

strategies and resources to help you

learn throughout life as successfully as

you can

it's okay to make mistakes and ask for

help when needed just remember mistakes

are expected and respected

it's a learning experience and gives

your brain activity and power to grow

great job learning about your brain

today just remember you are strong

you can learn anything
